He also directed the University of Miami Behavioral Medicine Research Center the Department of Psychology amp rsquo s Division of Health Psychology and an NIH NHLBI institutional (T32) training grant ( 979-2 24). Dr. Schneiderman published more than 45 journal articles and 8 books and monographs, and served as editor-in-chief of Health Psychology and the International Journal of Behavioral Medicine. He was funded as the principal investigator of NIH and National Science Foundation research grants for over 5 decades.
