Photographer Paul Nathan was born in Auckland New Zealand. He has a degree in Art History and Art Theory from the University of Canterbury and has studied at the International Center for Photography (ICP) in New York. Nathan is concerned with the idea of transformation and identity. He has also published Generation Ink: Williamsburg, Brooklyn, Couture Dogs of New York and Groomed. His editorial work has been published in books, magazines, and newspapers around the world. Illustrator Jennifer Cascino is the founder of Famous Swan Productions, a graphic design and illustration studio that thrives on creating everything from integrated design for the advertising/publishing world to boutique business and startup identity. For 13 years, Jen has art directed and designed for titles such as Details, Glamour, ELLE, and Architectural Digest. Illustration and fine art have always been a passion and are integral to her design process. Author Nadine Rubin Nathan began her career as editor-in-chief of Elle South Africa. After relocating to New York in 2004, she contributed to Harper's Bazaar and was senior editor at Assouline Publishing. Her fashion writing has also been published in the New York Times. This is her first children's book.
