The author will be handling her own publicity with God’s leading. She will contact local Christian radio stations 90.9 KCBI and 94.9 KLTY along with Trinity Broadcasting Network and Daystar television to request book reviews and interviews. The author has contacted a local testimony radio program called, “A Time to Remember” and is awaiting their response. The author will contact the University of Michigan’s Alumni Association to request a fall article be published in their nationally distributed UM alumni magazine.

In addition, the author will solicit reviews and interviews with major magazines, radio and television stations which appeal to the target audience. The author desires to reach both saved and secular audiences because the subject of her book, spiritual transformation through Christ, will impact lives of men, women and teenagers for the Gospel. The author will contact the Dallas Morning News, San Antonio Express-News, and WFAA news station to share her story.

The author will be a guest speaker in September, 2017 at her home church, Abundant Life Church in Grapevine. She has already contacted friends for speaking opportunities at their clubs and small groups with First Baptist Grapevine, Irving Bible Church, 121 Community Church, Gateway Church, and Covenant Church.

The author will solicit book readings and public speaking engagements with: Grapevine Public Library, Lewisville Public Library, City of Grapevine Rotary Club, Fellowship Church (former member), Irving Bible Church (former member), Roaring Lambs Ministries, along with local writing workshops, book clubs, and women’s groups.

An author website dedicated to promoting the book is scheduled to launch before April, 2017: www.alivehijackedbytheholyspirit.com. Her readers will be able to contact the author, send reviews, read a book excerpt, watch an author video, and join an email list for upcoming events.

The author has created a dedicated book email address: alive.holyspirt@gmail.com. She will share insights and tools from her transformation through social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

The author will participate in several bookstore signings in the Grapevine, Texas area. Most likely, one with Barnes & Noble and another with LifeWay Christian Store. There may be a book signing in Austin, Texas where the author has family and possibly in Troy, Michigan where the author has friends from childhood.

Recent Book Interest:

The author has acquired online pre-order sales through Barnes & Noble, as well as Amazon in America, Canada, and Germany after posting on her personal Facebook page. She previously notified friends throughout the U.S. by designing and mailing Alive prayer cards.

Recently, the author began volunteering at a local pro-life clinic. After two visits, two female employees were immediately interested in her book! One of them is an aspiring Christian author and graduate student who has a draft that she wants published. The other is a single mom nurse seeking fellowship. Upon the author’s third visit, a married female manager expressed interest in her book claiming, “I’m going to pre-order right now… You should be a speaker.”

The author began private ballroom dance lessons recently and shared her story with them. Her new male dance partner and female instructor, both divorced over fifty, have ordered the book.

The author attends cycle classes at two gyms in her area. Both instructors are interested—one a married Catholic male, and the other a married non-church attending wife and mother—along with several class members. [The Holy Spirit is drawing people to the author.]

About the Author

CHARLOTTE BENKE shares her story to encourage others to come alive in Christ. She grew up in Michigan in a family that did not attend church, and she lived as a nonbeliever for twenty-five years. For the past fifteen years, Charlotte has been a maturing follower of Jesus Christ. She currently leads a single women’s small group at her home church in Grapevine, Texas.
