About the Author

Mary T. Newport has provided neonatal care in Florida since 1983 and is currently the founding medical director of the neonatal intensive care unit in Spring Hill Regional Hospital. In July 2008 Dr. Newport wrote an article, "What If There Was a Cure for Alzheimer's Disease and No One Knew?" about a dietary measure that produces ketones that may set back the disease's progression.
