About the Author

S. T. JOSHI is a widely published freelance author and editor. He has compiled bibliographies of H. P. Lovecraft (1981), Lord Dunsany (1993), and Ramsey Campbell (1995) and is the author of several scholarly studies, including Lord Dunsany: Master of the Anglo-Irish Imagination (Greenwood, 1995). He is presently preparing editions of Bierce's Collected Fables and The Unabridged Devil's Dictionary.

DAVID E. SCHULTZ is a technical editor for an environmental engineering firm in Milwaukee. He edited a critical edition of H. P. Lovecraft's Commonplace Book and, with S. T. Joshi, has edited several other works.
