About the Author

Capt. John aka John C. Wright is the Award Winning author of two best sellers in the "BYOB" (Bring Your Own Boat) cruising series. He was born and raised in Terrell, Texas, and after a 20 year career with a Fortune 500 Company, Capt. John retired to living and cruising America's Great Loop. Now with seven completed Loops, several more 'half loops' he has a total of 23 years and over 65,000 Great Loop miles of experience under his keel. A firm believer in God, Country, Freedom and Family he is a humble man in a humble boat on a humble adventure.
