Anathem is the latest magnificent creation from the award-winning author of Cryptonomicon and the Baroque Cycle trilogy.
Neal Town Stephenson (born October 31, 1959) is an American writer
and game designer known for his works of speculative fiction.
His novels have been variously categorized as science fiction,
historical fiction, cyberpunk, and "postcyberpunk." Other labels,
such as "baroque," often appear. Oliver Wyman has helped teach a
generation to speak English in literally hundreds of language
programs; his vocal characterisations have populated countless
cartoons and video games; his alliterative antics and sober
soliloquies heard in radio and TV commercials have convinced untold
millions to buy things they really didn't need. His work in
audiobooks has won many accolades, including five Audie awards from
the Audio Publisher's Association and nearly a dozen Earphone
awards from AudioFile Magazine, in every category from humour to
non-fiction. Tavia Gilbert is an award-winning narrator with almost
500 audiobooks under her belt. Contemporary and literary fiction,
biography and memoir, fantasy, romance, children’s literature,
science, religion … Tavia’s range of genres is a direct result of
her intuitive interpretation, clever diction and pacing, and
sensitivity to each story. She makes her home in New York, where
she produces, directs and narrates audiobooks and full-cast
recordings. William Dufris is an award-winning actor, director,
writer and producer of audio fiction, who taught and inspired
hundreds of people in the art form. A long-time member of the
National Audio Theatre Festivals family, Bill shared his passion
for audio storytelling in workshops and performances. He has voiced
over 400 audiobooks, including Spiderman for BBC Radio and Bob The
Builder in American cartoons. William Dufris also founded three
audio theatre production companies, one of which was one of the
first independent, all-digital production facilities in the U.S –
Mind’s Eye Productions. AudioFile Magazine named him ‘one of the
best voices of the century’ in 2012. Neal Town Stephenson (born
