Philip Coppens (25th January 1971 - 30th December 2012) was an internationally renowned investigative journalist, author and regular contributor to magazines such as Atlantis Rising and NEXUS Magazine. He was labelled a sceptic by the believers and a believer by the sceptics-a unique position which makes him a well-recognised voice of reason. Philip's writings, speeches and television appearances focused on areas of Fringe science and alternative history. He died on December 30, 2012 in Los Angeles, California
