George P. Landow is an academic and writer whose fields of
interest include nineteenth-century literature, art and religion as
well as literary, media and hypertext theory. George has helped to
organize several international loan exhibitions including Fantastic
Art and Design in Britain, 1850 to 1930, and his books include
Victorian Types, Victorian Shadows: Biblical Typology and Victorian
Literature, Art, and Thought; Ruskin; and A Pre-Raphaelite
Friendship.
Iain Zaczek was educated at Wadham College, Oxford, and the
Courtauld Institute of Art. He has since gone on to forge an
impressive career as a freelance writer on art- and Celtic-related
subjects, and is interested in particular in Pre-Raphelite art and
International Gothic. His publications include Essential Art Deco,
Essential William Morris, The Art of the Icon, Lovers in Art and
Impressionist Interiors. He is also working on a BBC website called
Your Paintings.
