About the Author

Anne Taintor lives in Portland, Maine. She created her first images 25 years ago, cutting and gluing images and captions sitting at her kitchen table. Now she and her daughter apply current, slightly twisted captions to vintage magazine clippings from the 40s and 50s. Her magnets, journals and many other items featuring these designs are in distribution at specialty stores throughout the country. She also has personal care products with BlueQ, and paper napkins and tissues with Paper Products Design.
