Reviews

“Nevertheless, this text will still be a very valuable addition to all small animal veterinary practice libraries and would be particularly useful to veterinary students, veterinary nurses and technicians, general practitioners and specialists alike. The text is also priced very competitively and offers very good value for the money.”  (The Veterinary Journal, 1 October 2013) “It would be a valuable addition to the library of veterinary student, practitioners, and academicians.”  (Journal of The American Veterinary Medical Association, 15 June 2012) “In summary, as a reference for the basics of nutrition and for nutritional therapy of disorders this book is highly recommended for any practitioner working with small animals. Further, it will be an invaluable tool for furthering the education of veterinary students and residents and I hope this is the first of many future editions as research in veterinary nutrition expands.”  (Journal of Small Animal Practice, 1 April 2013) “This book will make a valuable addition to any general practice library. While aimed at veterinary practitioners, students and residents of multiple disciplines, the broad content and provision of practical information also makes this an invaluable and useful reference for student and qualified veterinary nurses and anyone with an interest in companion animal nutrition."  (Veterinary Record, 3 November 2012) “This book, written by more than twenty well known and qualified nutritionists, provides a lot of information for the practitioner . . . This is scientifically proven and great for compliance.”  (Vets Today, 1 October 2012) “In summary, as a reference for the basics of nutrition and for nutritional therapy of disorders this book is highly recommended for any practitioner working with small animals. Further, it will be an invaluable tool for furthering the education of veterinary students and residents and I hope this is the first of many future editions as research in veterinary nutrition expands.”  (JSAP, 2012)

"Overall, Applied veterinary clinical nutrition is a very user-friendly textbook that will help veterinarians make accurate and useful recommendations for the nutritional treatment of common diseases in small animal medicine." (AVJ, 2012) "Applied Veterinary Clinical Nutrition provides current nutritional advice for use in daily canine and feline practice, and offers solutions on how to blend nutrition into general clinical practices." (California Bookwatch, May 2016)
