Zixing Cai, IEEE Fellow and IEEE Life Fellow, Fellow of the
International Academy of Navigation and Motion Control, United
Nations Expert (UNIDO), Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of the
School of Information Science and Engineering, Central South
University, Chief Scientist of Hunan ZIXING AI Academy. He has
served as the Vice President of the Chinese Society for Artificial
Intelligence (CAAI) and Founding Director of the Intelligent
Robotics Professional Committee of CAAI, Honorary Chairman of Hunan
Society of Artificial Intelligence, Director of Chinese Association
of Automation (CAA) and member of Intelligent Automation
Professional Committee of CAA, Member of the Artificial
Intelligence and Pattern Recognition Professional Committee of
Chinese Computer Federation (CCF) , Member of the Evaluation
Committee of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (CIS), and
Member of the IEEE CIS Evolutionary Computing Technology Committee.
Prof Cai also served as an Adjunct Professor at Rensselaer
Polytechnic Institute (RPI), St. Petersburg Technical University,
Technical University of Denmark, Peking University, National
University of Defense Technology, Beijing University of Aeronautics
and Astronautics, Beijing University of Posts and
Telecommunications, etc., and also served as a Visiting Researcher
at the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, St.
Petersburg Automation and Informatics Institute, Russian Academy of
Sciences and so on. Prof Cai is one of the academic leaders in the
fields of artificial intelligence, intelligent control and robotics
in China. He is known as "the first person in artificial
intelligence education in China", "founder of the Chinese
intelligent robotics discipline" and "founder of Chinese
intelligent control". He has written and published more than 50
monographs/ textbooks, and published more than 1,000 papers, which
have been cited tens of thousands of times. He has presided over
eight national quality engineering projects of the Ministry of
Education, China, including national quality courses, quality
resource sharing courses, and national teaching teams.
Lijue Liu, Associate Professor, Department of Artificial
Intelligence, School of Automation, Central South University. She
obtained a doctorate degree in computer application technology from
Central South University in 2016. She has participated in five
books including Artificial Intelligence and Its Applications (5th
Edition), and has written and participated in more than ten
research projects. She has authored more than 20 papers and holds
five patents. Her current research involves intelligent processing
of medical data, artificial intelligence, computational
intelligence, and machine learning. She is the deputy dean of the
Hunan ZiIXING AI Academy, the executive director of the Guangxi
Artificial Intelligence Society, a member of the Chinese Artificial
Intelligence Society, a lecturer of the national-level excellent
course "Artificial Intelligence" and a national-level video open
class "Artificial Lecture Professor of Intelligent PK Human
Intelligence" and member of the national teaching team of the
National Intelligent Basic Courses.
Baifan Chen, Associate Professor, Department of Artificial
Intelligence, School of Automation, Central South University,
Deputy Dean of Hunan ZIXING AI Academy, Deputy Secretary-General of
Hunan Artificial Intelligence Society, IEEE Member and CAAI Member.
She received a master's degree in pattern recognition and
intelligent systems and a doctorate in computer application
technology from Central South University in 2004 and 2009,
respectively. In 2015, she served as a visiting scholar in the
NetBot laboratory of Texas A & M University. She is a member of the
national teaching team of the "Basic Series of Intelligent
Science", the lecturer of the "Artificial Intelligence" boutique
course of the Ministry of Education, and the national "Twelfth
Five-Year" planning textbook Artificial Intelligence and Its
Application. Her current research interests include artificial
intelligence, mobile robots, and computer vision.
Yong Wang received a PhD degree in control science and engineering
from the Central South University, Changsha, China, in 2011. He is
a Professor with the School of Automation, Central South
University, Changsha, China. His current research interests include
intelligent optimization and learning and its applications. He has
been the principal investigator of four National Natural Science
Foundation of China (NSFC) projects, and has published 47
international journal papers including 30 IEEE Transactions papers.
In addition, he was a recipient of the Cheung Kong Young Scholar by
Ministry of Education in 2018, and a Highly Cited Researcher in
computer science by Clarivate Analytics in 2017 and 2018. He is
currently serving as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions
on Evolutionary Computation and Swarm and Evolutionary Computation.
