About the Author

Hi! My name is Demia Doggette, and I am a dreamer, an optimist, and a lover of tulle skirts. About 2 years ago I was inspired to write a book for women that tackles the issues of low self-esteem and body image insecurities. After years of gathering, writing, and editing, my book was complete, but my passions continued to flair. I wanted to continue creating positive outlets for women that allow them to be themselves and embrace their inner and outer beauty, and this my friends is how Beautiful Epiphany began. I am such a girly girl that loves all things fashion and beauty, but I also aim to feed my inner desires for knowledge, growth, and empowerment. I searched and searched for a platform that would allow me to do just that, but my search came up void. Now don't get me wrong, I saw a lot of fashion blogs, networking tools, inspirational books, and beauty websites that were absolutely amazing, but I wanted something that would encompass the woman like me that wants it all. So instead of complaining about this lack, I decided to create it. Welcome to my version of a blog on steroids! Beautiful Epiphany is open to women of all ages that are dedicated to feeding their desire for Fashion, Purpose, Beauty and Empowerment. Now that you know a bit about my passions, I can share with you my boring credentials (Forbes said it was a good idea to include this part, lol). I received my Bachelor's of Arts in Communication from Oakwood University. After graduation the economy was terrible and my job search continuously came up void. I had the option of moving back home, or going back to school; in an attempt to keep my sanity, I chose the latter (just kidding mom and dad, I love you both dearly). I have always been one to love a challenge, so I decided to push myself to obtain two Master's degrees before the age of 24, and I did just that. I graduated from Florida Institute of Technology with a Master's of Science in Management and Master's in Business Administration... and to add a cherry on top, I received a certification in Human Resource Management as well. One of my favorite quotes from Steve Marboli states, "There is nothing more rare, nor more beautiful, than a woman being unapologetically herself; comfortable in her perfect imperfection. To me, that is the true essence of beauty." Fabulous comes in all shapes, sizes, and colors so join me and women across the world and we discover our own Beautiful Epiphany.
