Diana Cumberland has over twenty years teaching experience in Northern Territory schools. Her students provided the inspiration for writing children's books which focus on self-esteem, protective behaviours and bullying. Diana acknowledges that for children to be happy and succeed in life, they need to be loved and feel safe. She loves being in nature and expressing her creativity. Diana experiments with different materials and techniques in her illustrations. She loves helping others and believes kindness for others begins with kindness for our self.
