It's not easy being Bindy Mackenzie. It's not her fault that she's the cleverest girl in school, and she's tired of having no friends - Bindy's learning the hard way that being nice doesn't equal being popular. So it's time for a change - she's going to do whatever it takes to make people like her, even if it means being the opposite of nice ...The following are a few of the many rave reviews for Jaclyn's previous Macmillan novels: "I absolutely loved it. I wish I had written it". (Marian Keyes). "Funny ...moving ...compulsive". (The 50 Best Books for Children, "Independent"). "Funny, strange and improbably true". (Book of the Month, J17). "A good-natured who-dunnit. A pacey, tightly woven book". (TES).
About the Author
Jaclyn Moriarty grew up in Sydney, Australia, and studied Law and English on three continents at Sydney University in Australia, Yale in the US and Cambridge in England. She spent four years working as a media and entertainment lawyer but now writes full-time so she can go to work in her pyjamas. Jaclyn lives in Sydney with her son. Jaclyn's first novel for young adults, FEELING SORRY FOR CELIA, was an instant best-seller in Australia, America and the UK. She followed this up with the equally fantastic FINDING CASSIE CRAZY and DREAMING OF AMELIA. Jaclyn also writes for adults.
