DR. CHARMAINE ALEXIS (D.Div., M.A., B.A.) is a Bible teacher by calling, and an ordained minister with more than 35 years of ministerial experience. She is a graduate of Newport International University and Eugene Bible College. Charmaine, author of "Fragrance of Forgiveness" is a visionary leader, and educator for over 35 years. She served as Dean of the Open Bible Institute of Theology for 25 years, and later founded the "Little Lambs" Kindergarten, "Shekinah Christian Academy" and "Shekinah Children's Foundation". She also co-founded the Open Bible Institute in the island of Grenada where she served along with her husband Rev. Dr. Charles Alexis for five years as educational missionaries. Together they co-pastored the Laventille Open Bible Standard Church for 24 years. At present she holds the office of Elder Director of Supportive Ministries on the National Board of the Open Bible Standard Churches of Trinidad and Tobago, the Founding Director of the Shekinah Children's Foundation, and an Advisory Director of the EXCEL Foundation. She is an adjunct member of faculty of Haggai International, Maui. Hawai.
