Better Behavior for Ages 2-10

Lesson Ladder has developed a user-friendly, "hands-on" parenting book about managing and improving your child's behavior (proposed age range: 2-12 years). The main goal of the book is to be an essential resource and guidebook for parents who are struggling with everyday behavioral issues related to their children. The book also provides pre-emptive strategies for parents (i.e. what parents can do to set the stage for good behavior-before any problems arise). The overall tone and approach of the book is warm, reassuring, and engaging--especially for parents who are "at their wit's end" with their children, and those who are trying to wade through all the conflicting mass media parenting advice about child behavior. The book is also authoritative and integrates relevant research findings, but in an accessible, parent-friendly way. The author includes real-life examples and vignettes from her professional experiences as a school psychologist and parent coach (whenever appropriate). The book has parent-friendly illustrations & visuals that will help parents absorb the various behavior management strategies.
