About the Author

Joseph P. Sanchez is Superintendent of Petroglyph National Monument, National Park Service, and Director of the Intermountain Spanish Colonial Research Center at the University of New Mexico. He is the author of Between Two Rivers: The Atrisco Land Grant in Albuquerque History, 1692-1968.
