About the Author

Dr. Rhonda Bryant is a nationally recognized policy advocate, equity expert, and strategist committed to changing the future for children through research, strategy, & action. Rhonda fell in love with children's books early in life. After school, she would explore the shelves of her local library and delighted in finding new titles that she hadn't read before. At the age of 14, she was hired part-time to shelve books - a dream job! Rhonda began writing books when her son was in kindergarten because she wanted to remind him every day of his brilliance and greatness. She is delighted to share a bit of love, light, and joy with parents of Black children who simply want to see their children shine!
