About the Author

Larry Flax and Rick Rosenfield are the co-founders and co-CEOs of California Pizza Kitchen. Larry and Rick were friends and law partners before trading in the courtroom for the dining room, practicing law as Flax and Rosenfield from 1973 until they opened their first CPK restaurant in Beverly Hills in 1985. Today, the chain has grown to more than 230 restaurants in thirty states and eight countries, including twenty-five CPK ASAP quick-service locations. Larry and Rick are also the authors of The California Pizza Kitchen Cookbook and California Pizza Kitchen Pasta, Salads, Soups, and Sides .
