B. S. Everitt is Professor Emeritus of the Institute of Psychiatry, King's College London. He is the author of almost 60 books on statistics and computing, including Medical Statistics from A to Z, also from Cambridge University Press. A. Skrondal is Senior Statistician at the Norwegian Institute of Public Health, Professor of Biostatistics in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Oslo, and Honorary Professor at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He has published in more than 50 different peer-reviewed journals.
"This book is fresh with updated content and additional pages.
Everitt, a strong statistician with some 50 books in publication,
has once again devoted his talents and expertise to updating this
dictionary. Skondral, an expert in multilevel and longitudinal
modeling, is well published in biostatistics. These two great minds
offer a book with nearly 4,000 statistical terms and 100-plus
updated biographical entries. Cambridge deserves commendation for
offering an updated edition consistently every four years. Highly
recommended."
