About the Author

Cash carriers have fascinated Andrew Buxton since his childhood in Leicester. He has set up the Cash Railway wesbite, contacted and visited many museums and collected references to over four hundred former systems. He has a PhD in information science and has worked at the 'Oxford English Dictionary' and the British Library.
