"The workbook for participants is equally well structured [as the
Facilitator Guide], right down to the last details, including the
worksheets and examples for responses that would be acceptable as
answers to stated questions. Indeed, the two books together enable
application of the program easily and fluently. The format is
friendly and appealing, the wording easy to understand and
unambiguous, the instructions clear and detailed. The books are
aesthetically
formatted and easy to handle for anyone who would use them. and
easy to handle for anyone who would use them. The two companion
books provide a paradigm for manuals of treatments in health
psychology
[and] they set a standard for future publications of this
kind."--PsycCritiques
