Patricia Tauroa is a respected kuia and former language tutor at
the Auckland College of Education. Born at Mangawhero, she is of
Ngapuhi, Te Aupouri and Te Rarawa extraction, as well as being of
Irish and Scottish descent. Patricia lives in Northland.
