And he received a Caldecott Honor Award for There Was an Old Woman Who Swallowed a Fly. With Blue Apple, he won the 2008 Parents' Choice Gold Award for Simms Taback's Safari Animals , the 2006 Scholastic Parent and Child Best Book of the Year for Peek-a-Boo, Who? , and the 2004 Child Best Book of the Year, the 2004 Parenting book of the Year, and the 2004 Parents' Choice Gold Award for Simms Taback's Big Book of Words.
