Stanley H. Block, M.D., is Adjunct Professor of Law and Psychiatry at Seattle University of Law, Adjunct Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Utah School of Medicine, and a board-certified psychiatrist and psychoanalyst. He has worked in private practice and has had academic and clinical appointments at a number of other medical schools, including his alma mater, UCLA. He lectures and consults with treatment centers nationwide and is the author of the academic book Bridging the I-System: Unifying Spirituality and Behavior. Stan and his wife, Carolyn Bryant Block, live in Copalis Beach, Washington. They have been an inseparable duo in the discovery and creation of the Identity System theory and technique.
