Dale Chase discovered her imagination at age four and has lived there ever since. While she allows time out for the reality life requires, she prefers making up stories and to date has over one hundred gay erotic stories published in various magazines and anthologies. Her work has also been translated into Italian and German.
After a start writing short fiction for motorcycle magazines,
Chase found a home in gay erotica where she has happily resided for
over a decade. She divides her fictional efforts between
contemporary and historical short stories, favoring the Victorian
period. She is an avid reader of Victorian fiction and it was a
line in a Henry James novel that inspired her collection of
Victorian erotica. She also writes stories set in the old west,
having adored cowboys from the age of four. Though writing is her
life purpose, Chase is also an artist who draws, paints, sculpts in
papier-mache, creates art from found objects, and lately works in
magazine paper collage. Her work is never sold but can be seen on
her Web site. She lives a blissfully solitary life near San
Francisco.
