Language and literacy reference
Series editor and author Dean Roberts is co-author of Complete
English as Second Language for Cambridge IGCSE (2014) and Essential
First Language English for Cambridge IGCSE. He has 15 years'
experience of working on English-language projects, managing teams
of examiners and moderators, overseas training, and professional
development of teachers in English language. Dean has particular

education. Tony
Parkinson is an experienced examiner, with expertise in assessing
English from age 11-16. Tony has over 20 years of experience as a

years' experience as an English examiner for ages 14-16. He was
Head of English with responsibility for a large English department
