Russell Anderson is a first-time author living in Geelong. He is a
proud father of two adult children and an involved grandad of two
amazing and inspirational grandchildren. It was during a time of
play that the idea for the children’s book series called Dad Said
was birthed. His daughter and the mother of his grandchildren,
Christine Christodoulou, has provided all the illustrations; making
this exciting endeavour a true family effort and one of many to
come.
Illustrator:
Christine Christodoulou is a mum with two children and has always
held the priority of her family in the centre of her life. Growing
up, and as an adult, she has always enjoyed drawing as a hobby and
was thrilled with the idea of illustrating a children’s picture
book with her dad, Russell Anderson. Working closely together on
their first book and involving her children along the way, has
shown how family-focussed projects can bring so much joy and
excitement for all.
