I am a tertiary patternmaking teacher, and I constantly refer to this text both for diagrams, as well as easy, clear ways to communicate concepts to my students. Aimed at 1st year fashion students, it is also a valuable guide for more experienced patternmakers who need a little reminding of how to draft a cowl neck, or kimono bodice for example. It is an expensive book, but if you can afford it, worth purchasing.

A good book to help with you pattern drafting, whether a beginner or more advanced and wanting to extend. Excellent basic blocks and good extensions that you can build on.
