IBRAHIM ELBADAWI is a Research Coordinator at the African Economic Research Consortium in Nairobi. He previously taught at Northwestern University, USA, at the University of Gezira in Sudan, and was a Visiting Professor at Yale University in the USA. He is on leave from the World Bank where he worked at the Macroeconomic and Growth Division.
