M. A. HINES is the Clarence W. King Endowed Professor of Finance and Real Estate at the School of Business, Washburn University, Topeka, Kansas. Author of more than 30 international- and U.S.-oriented books and monographs and an international lecturer and researcher, Dr. Hines consults to major multinational companies in the United States and abroad, notably in Japan.
