About the Author

David Renton is a senior research fellow at Sunderland University. He was previously an education officer for the Trades Union Congress in London, and has lectured at Edge Hill College of Higher Education, Rhodes University in South Africa and Nottingham Trent University. His other books include Fascism: Theory and Practice (Pluto Press, 1999), Marx on Globalisation (Lawrence and Wishart, 2001) amd Fascism, Anti-Fascism and the 1940s (Macmillan Press, 2000).
