Diane Wing, M.A. grew up in a household where her vivid imagination could thrive. Crafting short stories and poetry from an early age, writing remained part of her life throughout her 25-year corporate career. Her training in clinical psychology shows up in her characters' struggles and in her non-fiction books about energetic consciousness, tarot, and happiness. Diane seeks to help the reader find the flame of their own unique path sparked by her stories and insights for personal growth. Diane is an avid reader, bibliophile, lover of trees and animals, and a lifelong learner. If you have already met a young lady called Autumn, and her fluffy little dog, Chrissy, you'll look forward to following them with another murder investigation. If not, you are in for a pleasant surprise, and this story stands perfectly well alone. The little town of Knollwood is the location of several murders. It helps that the principal investigator has the police detective in love with her. Any book worth remembering has lessons under the surface. I approve of these ones. They are mostly about human nature, and the way good people treat each other. Read, and find out what I mean.

I have fallen in love with Chrissy and Autumn and their continuing journey to health while finding themselves in the middle of a murder mystery adventure. My pre-teen daughter and I enjoyed reading The Dog-Eared Diary and then discussing the clues, plot twists and characters. I am looking forward to the next installment of Chrissy and Autumn's adventures!

The second of the Chrissy the shih tzu mysteries tells the story of how a secret changes Autumn Clarke's life forever and how Autumn and Chrissy investigate the unexpected death of a prominent town member. We are reintroduced to Ray, Autumn's love interest, his ex-police dog, Ace, and several of Autumn and Chrissy's friends. A fun and engaging read! Looking forward to Book Three!!
