About the Author

Raised in a large and lively family in East Vancouver, British Columbia, A.T. Valle knew her life's purpose was working with children. Since earning a diploma in Early Childhood Education and Special Needs Education, she has worked with children of all ages with differing developmental needs in various childcare settings. Although love for children had a lot to do with it, the inspiration for the Duke and Dot books comes from the love of her two dogs and the desire to share their story with people of all ages.
