About the Author

CHARLES AND RAY EAMES are among the most important and influential designers of the 20th century. Renowned as visionaries, their groundbreaking contributions to architecture, furniture design, exhibition design, photography, film, toys, and products are highly regarded throughout the world.

The Eameses were incredibly prolific and enthusiastic in all of their boundary-less pursuits.

Their own Case Study home in Pacific Palisades and their countless iconic furniture designs, including the seminal Eames Lounge chair, are recognized as some of the most significant contributions to Modernism. It is a testament to their curiosity, passion, and commitment to good design that their work continues to inspire new and future generations of designers and consumers alike.

GLORIA FOWLER is the design director for AMMO books and has created AMMO's growing line of kids books and products, starting with the Charley Harper series. The Eames children's line beautifully augments this series of design-centric products. The Charles and Ray Eames Memory Game celebrates the playful spirit of these seminal designers. Gloria is also a faculty member at Art Center College of Design.
