About the Author

Anna Gare is considered one of Australia's most popular female cooks and had spent more than 22 years in the hospitality industry. She started out as a member of the all-girl rock band the 'Jam Tarts' in the 1980s and 1990s while working in various restaurants around Australia. In the late 1990s she set up the highly respected Deluxe Catering in Fremantle. Since 2007 Anna has presented several high profile TV shows and will be co-presenting The Great Australian Bake-Off in 2013.
