Nicolas Schunck received his PhD in theoretical nuclear physics from the University of Strasbourg and is currently a research scientist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. His work is centred on the development and applications of computational methods for nuclear energy density functional theory, with a particular focus on the development of a fundamental description of nuclear fission.
