Glenfiddich Writer of the Year Award, the Andre Simon Memorial Fund Book Award and Cookery Writer of the Year. Her books include- FISH COOKERY, ENGLISH FOOD, FRUIT BOOK and THE ENJOYMENT OF FOOD. She died in March 1990
