About the Author

Any event I experienced in my life that affected me were made into short forms of poetry in the attempt to reach out to everyone hopefully confirming that I wasn't alone with these emotions. The feedback was incredibly positive, no one seemed to have been brave, bold or ambitious enough to craft these feelings into this simple and beautiful art form. Essence of Dreams is a collection of all my poetic works starting with my latest poems going back to when I was a young writer desperate for a means of expression and emotional release. Brian Alvarez
