DREW BEECHUM, author of The Everything(R) Homebrewing Book, The Everything(R) Hard Cider Book, and The Homebrewer's Journal and co-author of Voyageur Press' Experimental Homebrewing (2014), has been brewing for more than a decade and has won numerous medals for his beer. The past president of the Maltose Falcons, the United States' oldest homebrewing society, Beechum writes a monthly column for BeerAdvocate and has also written for Zymurgy, the journal of the American Homebrewers Association. He lives in Pasadena, California. DENNY CONN, co-author of Experimental Homebrewing (Voyageur Press, 2014), homebrewed his first batch of beer in 1998 and since then has brewed over than 400 more. He is a BJCP National-ranked beer judge and has been a member of the governing committee of the American Homebrewers Association for nine years. Known for his Rye IPA recipe, which has been brewed by several commercial breweries in both the United States and Europe, Conn also developed the Cheap 'n' Easy all-grain brewing system. He lives in the foothills of the Coast Range in Oregon with his wife, five cats, and two dogs.
