About the Author

Anna Shapiro is the author of two novels, The Right Bitch and Life and Love, Such as They Are—which begins with a woman modeling a meatloaf in the shape of her lover's head. A discussion of that meatloaf recipe, along with years of chronic reading, led to the writing of the book. Shapiro writes and cooks in New York City.
