About the Author

PETER S. GAYTAN has served as an advocate in securing and protecting the earned benefits of America’s veterans in Washington, D.C., for more than a decade.  He is the executive director of the Washington, D.C., office of the American Legion. The American Legion is the largest veterans’ service organization in America.
