About the Author

Alda Merini is the author of La presenza di Orfeo, La tierra santa, and Baladas no pagodas. She frequently was a candidate for the Nobel Prize for Literature. Jeannette L. Clariond grew up between three languages: Arabic, English and Spanish. She has translated numerous American and Italian titles and is the director of the publishing house, Vaso Roto Ediciones.
