Valerie Smith writes children's books illustrating the most beneficial tools and lessons she's learned in her own life. Why? Because that's what parents read! After years of requests to "write a book, please!" she decided to take action. As a nanny, she noticed that she mostly read children's books; as a matter of fact, that's all she read. She also noticed that the little boy she nannied acted and sounded just like her in so many ways. "Of course," she thought, "Human beings mimic! That's how we learn!"
