Reviews

"Politics and wars do make strange bedfellows and the politics of war and warriors produce bizarre circumstances indeed. Mark Snell's outstanding biography of William D. Franklin illumines all of this and more. Here is a fascinating story well told." - Emory M. Thomas, University of Georgia
