About the Author

Jonathan C. Lane is a freelance historian and genealogist from Massachusetts. He developed his historical research skills while working at Plimoth Plantation and the American Antiquarian Society and further honed them during pursuit of his degree at the Harvard Extension School. He has previously produced "Come Cheer Up My Lads; Songs for the Redcoats in America," as well as having contributed pieces and research to many organizational productions.
