But even more than that, she loves digging deep into her own city of Chicago, as she's done in the 2015 Frommer's EasyGuide. Silver specializes in travel, food and feature stories, and her work regularly appears in Washington Post, Chicago Sun-Times and Southwest Airline's Spirit Magazine. Before moving to Chicago, she lived in Las Vegas, where she co-authored Pauline Frommer's Guide to Las Vegas and Frommer's Las Vegas Day by Day.
