About the Author

Julia Schettler is a Winnipeg writer and speaker and an advocate for adoption and inclusiveness. She believes that every child deserves a family. Julia and her husband have a blended, transracial family of nine children. Three of their sons were adopted from China. Sarah Neville is a Winnipeg artist. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Honours from the University of Manitoba. Along with illustrating, she also creates oil paintings and fabric textile artwork. Local wildlife and dogs, including her husky, frequently appear in her work.
