After spending seven years in the USMC, followed by a short stint in the private sector, Michael joined the investment firm of Wheat First Securities in Philadelphia in 1991. During his tenure, he witnessed mergers with Butcher and Singer, First Union bank and finally Wachovia Securities. In 2007, Michael resigned from Wachovia Securities before they merged with Wells Fargo Advisors to join LPL Financial, the nation's largest network of independent financial advisors. With his entrepreneurial spirits revived, Michael founded Doylestown Wealth Management and purchased a small office building to accommodate additional advisors and office staff. Within LPL, he later merged with Great Valley Advisor Group to access the benefits provided by their hybrid RIA program. Michael earned his bachelor's degree in business from the University of Delaware before earning his commission in the US Marine Corps. As a captain and helicopter pilot, he was decorated for flying combat missions in Grenada and Beirut. As an active volunteer, he remains a dedicated Rotarian for over 27 years, serves as President of the Board of Directors for Family Service Association of Bucks County, raised funds to purchase and distribute over 2,300 wheelchairs in Argentina and Bosnia, and coaches his daughter's soccer team. A married father of five, Michael counts family as his greatest treasure.
